Environmentalists and House Democrats are up in arms over a line item in the 2018 House budget bill that could result in the opening the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) for drilling for fossil fuels. When he was campaigning for President, Donald Trump supported opening a section of the ANWR to drilling.

Like the global warming issue, the ANWR controversy is all about political control and not preserving wildlife. Blocking the ANWR from drilling for fossil fuels is not in the best interests of the needs of human beings.
