Democrat New Jersey Senator Corey Spartacus Booker (who is vegan) has bluntly said American’s current inclination to eat meat cannot continue. During a February interview with VegNews, Booker said he does have ideas on how to interfere with America’s eating habits. He also said:
The tragic reality is this planet simply can’t sustain billions of people consuming industrially produced animal agriculture because of environmental impact. It’s just not possible, as China, as Africa move toward consuming meat the same way America does because we just don’t have enough land.
This demonstrates the arrogance of many vegans and once given power like this they can make it a point to to force their lifestyle on others. Cory Booker’s blunt statement demonstrates that even vegans can be power hungry, nature-worshiping religionists who obsess about other people’s lives who think they know what is best for everyone else. As opposed to religious supremacists on the Christian Right, the difference is Booker’s doctrinaire attitude seeking to sacrifice mankind to the needs of nature.
