This comes after Texas Governor Greg Abbott appealed an injunction issued by a federal judge ordering the Lone Star State to remove buoys the Lone Star State placed in the Rio Grande River to deter illegal immigrants.

Rep. Jodey Arrington (R-TX) and other House Republicans asked Interior Secretary Deb Haaland and President Joe Biden why the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) wants to classify two species of mussels as endangered.

Normally, the classification wouldn’t be a big deal, but these species are normally found in the Rio Grande near Texas.

The same Rio Grande where Texas placed buoys to stop migrants from crossing the border.

The same buoys the DOJ sued Texas over last week.

While an appellate court recently sided with Texas and, for now, the state’s Rio Grande buoy barriers will remain, Rep. Jodey Arrington, rightly, points out the timing of Biden’s move is very suspicious. His Fraudulency is obviously doing all he can to defend the Democrat’s slave trade. Biden has refused to adequately enforce U.S. immigration laws and has outright lied about the U.S.-Mexico border being secure due to the massive influx of illegal immigrants entering the United States.

Another example of how environmental policies are weaponized.
