Since EPA Chief Lee Zelden’s announcement to revive a ban using animals in experiments at the agency, it is important to dig into the organization whose efforts are the basis for Trump’s executive order that Zelden is following: the White Coat Waste Project (WCWP).

Not surprisingly, the group presents themselves as nonpartisan but an examination of their core officers says otherwise.

What some of their backgrounds reveal is concerning. For example:

The company she founded sounds real stellar. You know, social equity.

This one is about as conservative or Republican as the group’s founder.

From her X page (which is abandoned).

What is even more telling is this excerpt is from PETA’s Wikipedia’s page. if WCWP was independent, they’d be separate from PETA or repudiate them.

So far, only one true conservative is among WCWP’s board and the rest mostly have left-leanings. This group’s approach is very similar to the Humane Society (i.e. PETA in suits). The organization’s opposition to taxpayer funded animal tests is ultimately a way to hide their true agenda to prohibit or censor scientific investigation that utilize experiments with animals.

Most scientists don’t want to use animals in their experiments but often have to because the alternatives are inadequate. However, White Coat Waste Project is obviously a front group that shares similar goals with PETA that result in killing off humans by slandering medical tests used to develop life saving therapies and drugs.

In light of this, Trump should not welcome or accept PETA’s new found support and should reverse the bans on federal medical testing.
