In light of Hurricane Melissa, many climate change arm-wavers have been eager to point out that 8 of the top 15 strongest North Atlantic hurricanes (by barometric pressure) have occurred within the last 20 years and 10 of them have been within the last 40.

Incorrect and misleading.

Here are some facts for you:

1️⃣ There has been 𝒏𝒐 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 in the frequency of major hurricanes (MHs) at a global scale since 1990. The trend is as FLAT as a pancake.

There’s no evidence whatsoever that climate change poses an existential threat, yet plenty shows politicians and celebrities have amassed wealth by scaring people about it. People need to be told the truth instead of half-truths if not outright lies about climate change.
