More proof that the so-called White Coat Waste Project is a PETA front group. As it turns out, their former Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy, Justin Goodman, was active with PETA. For some reason, this information is omitted on his bio on WCW’s website.

Since Justin Goodman was head of PETA’s Laboratory Investigations Department, it would be interesting to find out the details of his work. Such as if he had knowledge of or participate in efforts involving PETA activists getting hired for jobs to illegally film in laboratories or even try to invade facilities in order to sabotage them.
Goodman is still listed as Director of laboratory investigations at The Hastings Center for bioethics at PETA too. He was also interviewed by Lara Logan during September, and, while he admitted he worked for PETA, he did not repudiate or condemn any of the group’s illegal activities (like funding terrorism). Unfortunately, Lara Logan did not press him about any of this.
While White Coat Waste denies any links to PETA, Justin Goodman’s association with them needs to be scrutinized. While White Coat Waste remains a relatively small player, it is gaining noticeable traction among the many animal-rights organizations. If Americans don’t stay vigilant, WCW’s ambitious agenda could seriously disrupt foundational scientific research—and the vital medical advances that depend on it.
