This is the moment animal rights activists were sprayed with a torrent of water as they protested at a Chester farm.

Members of the Meat the Victim group stormed Holme Farm in Chester at 4am on Saturday morning to carry out a sit-in.

Protesters claim the farm, owned by J.H Willis & Son, treat their pigs inhumanely.

During their ‘peaceful protest’, the group say they were sprayed with water by workers at the farm.
