What happens when meat eaters embody the mentality of a vegan? This video solves the oldest riddle of the ages, what if meat eaters acted like vegans. JP bases his statements on comments made by vegans themselves and shows how condascending they can be by using meat, rather than plants, as the basis of his diet.

Good thing most vegans dont have that mentality to begin with!

There are those that do. That’s because ultimately veganism is a religious ideology. I dated a vegan and she would not go to any restaurants that weren’t vegan. It is unfortunate that you feel threatened by criticism or parodies of your religion that you feel the need to weigh in.

There are certainly as many if not more cocky/defensive/argumentative meat eaters as there are vegans. Does that mean they represent everyone in that group? Nope.

I don’t, I’m interested in the topic and your post sparked a conversation, your comments section is open so that gives the impression that you aren’t afraid to have discussion.

If by religion you mean ideology then sure.
Veganism is a lifestyle of doing the least you can do to avoid contributing to unnecessary suffering. I’ve studied many religions and none are as simple as that.

There in lies the problem, you are judged on what you do not eat and your ethics are grounded in the mystical reverence of appreciating nature for nature’s sake.

Its not for natures sake its for ethics sake that’s the point;
Why contribute to unnecessary breeding, suffering & early death if you dont have to? Especially since its healthier to avoid animal products.

Yes it is. Veganism is an extension of animal “rights” philosophy which hails from the environmentalist movement. The woman I dated became vegan because her so-called friends guiltified her into doing so. It is grounded in treating it’s adherents sacrifices for the needs of nature.

So what specifically is your problem with the vegan philosophy? Not your personal anecdotes.

It is bssed on altruism or the morality of self sacrifice. It is not healthy for a philosophy to assume animals are on par with humans and that it’s considered wrong or evil to consume the meat of an animal.
