Despite a High Court injunction, 31 people said to be members of the Extinction Rebellion offshoot animal rights group Animal Rising were arrested at a Epsom Derby horse race held in Epsom, Surrey, England yesterday. One of the terrorists tried to disrupt the event by running on to the horserace track only to be quickly arrested by police.
Someone who violates a High Court injunction risks jailtime should they be found in contempt of the court order. Late last month, Animal Rising hoodlums have also been reported to have stolen sheep from King Charles III’s Sandringham estate claiming they rescued the animals from being slaughtered for food, in which those that did later surrendered to police.
Attack the usage of animals for recreation and food in order to make living for humans as miserable as possible. That is what efforts like this are all about.
