A few years ago, a floating solar farm was built near the Omkareshwar Dam in Madhya Pradesh, India.

Power-Technology said: The floating solar facility will be designed to withstand strong waves and floods while continuing to generate solar power.

The solar farm’s design was put to test last month when a severe storm occurred and the results speak for themselves.

Here’s video of the catastrophe:

Even in the U.S., a number of solar farms are being obliterated due to severe weather. Even to the point of abandonment resulting in large amounts of toxic pollution.

Ayn Rand said it best: You can ignore reality, but you can’t ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.
