Kamala Harris’ campaign has delivered mixed messages regarding her stance on a mandate for automakers, which is a crucial issue in important Midwestern states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, where a significant number of autoworkers are located.

According to Axios, a campaign spokesperson said last week that Harris does not support an electric vehicle mandate — suggesting she changed her previous position, without elaborating.

On August 28, Axios requested the Harris campaign clarify her stance and indicate whether she would sign or veto a 2019 bill she co-sponsored that contained a mandate for automobile manufacturers. Yesterday, Harris’ campaign ultimately declined to comment.

After her disastrous first interview on CNN, it’s no surprise that Kamala Harris won’t sit down for an interview since she has contradicted herself so many times. To paraphrase Nancy Pelosi, it’s clear Harris’s plan is that we’ll have to vote for her to find out if she’s implement an EV mandate or not.

Vivek Ramaswamy brilliantly broke down Kamala Harris’s contradictions and called out mainstream media outlets, like CNN, trying to cover for her.
