I could not resist responding to a column in The New York Times by Frank Bruni stating the Republican-controlled Congress should accept the science that global warming is human induced and the planet is sizzling and then pointing to the UN’s doom-and-gloom if greenhouse gases are not addressed. I would remind Bruni neither side of the aisle has a monopoly or clear distinction on scientific literacy and knowledge. However, most of the anti-science positions hail more from the Left than the right.
