Website hosting company GoDaddy has pulled a commercial it planned to run during the Super Bowl. The company received criticism from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) stating the add highlighted or encouraged so-called puppy mills. As it turns out, Sports Illustrated states that GoDaddy’s intent was to poke fun at Budweiser’s commercial.
GoDaddy’s advertisement does nothing of what the SPCA and other animal rights activists allege. Shame on GoDaddy for caving on this issue. The television add is below for your viewing pleasure. I have posted it not only to express my disappointment with GoDaddy for their appeasement but also to enunciate my disgust with environmentalists who place a higher priority on animal, rather than human, life.
