The Daily Caller reports that outgoing United Nations Framework Convention executive director Yvo de Boer has defended the use of climate finance to fund coal projects. Boer’s conclusion contradicts his successor Christiana Figueres who is not only tries to walk a tightrope on the coal issue but also expressed sentiments linking increased population with climate change (formerly known as global warming).
