Revised satellite data shows less global warming

A fascinating article at The Libertarian Republic cites satellite temperature datasets released by Alabama climatologists stating that Earth’s warming trend is down from previous years.

Version 6 of the satellite data shows faster warming in the early part of the satellite record, which stretches from Dec. 1978 to March. 2015, but shows reduced, or even eliminated, warming in the latter part of the record, wrote climatologists Roy Spencer, John Christy and William Braswell. UAH Version 6 satellite data now shows a decreased warming trend of 0.114 degrees Celsius per decade, compared to Version 5.6’s 0.140 degree trend.

This includes a decrease in the warming trend for the U.S. since the late 1970s. Spencer, Christy and Brasell noted that the U.S. “trend decreased from +0.23 to +0.17 C/decade” and the “Arctic region changed from +0.43 to +0.23 C/decade.”

“Near-zero trends exist in the region around Antarctica,” according to the UAH scientists.

By now, it’s obvious that the claim that global warming is caused by humans, and computer models that are based on it, do not explain what is happening in the real world. Despite increased fossil fuel and CO@ emissions, the planet stopped warming 18 years ago. The models don’t work; their predictions do not conform to reality.

Rather than admit defeat, climate alarmists changed their message from humans causing global warming to climate change and even weather disruption. But this is ridiculous since alarmists attempt to blame every climate change and event on the usage of fossil fuels. The hypothesis can never be proven, which means it is religious dogma and not a scientific analysis. Alarmists don’t have a leg to stand on scientifically and it is being proven with more studies like this being released.
