Gary Yourofsky is an animal rights activist, a supporter of the Animal Liberation Front and at one point worked for PETA. In 1999 he spent over two months in jail for trespassing on a Canadian fur farm and releasing almost 1600 mink animals. In 2002 he told a reporter that he would unequivocally support the death of medical researchers in ALF-related arson fires. In 2003 he was kicked out of an East Tennessee University building during an altercation he had with someone scheduled to give a speech on animal testing and has been criticized for associating the meat industry with elements of the Holocaust.
In this video posted to his YouTube page a month ago, he responds to some criticism about his remarks about Palestinians. In this you can see the raw hatred he has of human beings and what they stand for. His activities and views were part of examples given during Congressional testimony on eco-terrorism. After watching this video and taking into account his past, you will know why.
