Poor Kat Von D, she keeps digging her hole much deeper trying to lessen the damage done from her disclosing on social media on how she would raise her child.
What she did not count on, as one blogger at Hollywood Gossip points out, is that the boycott effort over Kat Von D’s maternity choices has become a full blown movement. She spent an entire Instagram media post denying she and her husband are against vaccines but the response has mostly been in the negative. Sadly, some respondents have even wished death on her child.
The biggest gaping hole in her logic, is her reeling against chemicals and toxins yet she specializes in chemicals being a tattoo artist and selling cosmetics. It is how she built her entire career, but now she is saying they are harmful for people and doesn’t want to be labeled one because it would affect her business. Too late now.

I thought the ink and makeup she sells are vegan and as chemical free as possible ?
Plus, is there not a difference between what she sells to knowing adults and what she puts inside HER child’s body ?
No one needs makeup or tats but a child does need to be looked after by their mother.
I see no issue with this, I actually think it’s extremely silly that people care at all about it; because if they think children should be required to be vaccinated, then they should already be campaigning for it in legislation and not attacking one individual about it.

By rejecting immunizing her child plus also the numerous instances of vegan parents who have had their kids taken away due to malnourishment. It’s putting the child’s life at extreme risk. As a mother she should understand this. But she is rejecting reason in order to have faith.

A proper vegan diet has nothing to do with child malnourishment.
Vaccines are optional and plenty of people who get them are just fine for their entire lives.
It’s not that serious, just another way for the extremely civilized majority to judge anyone who lives different lifestyles than they do.

Tell that to the kids who nearly starved removed from homes where parents would only feed them vegan food. A child’s immune system is not as developed as an an adult’s and vaccines increase the baby’s chances of survival including feeding it meat since it is an excellent source of protein children need.
It will get serious when outbreaks of measles, mumps or polio occur in areas where people refuse to vaccinate. I guess you also have faith that mother nature or Gaia will protect you too?

Those children didn’t die from veganism they died from malnutrition. Grown men only need about 55 to 58 grams of protein per day, very easy to get on a vegan diet.

The malnutrition they suffered from was the result of their parents putting them on a vegan diet. They neglected to give the kids the appropriate vitamin supplements. Some parents will refuse to feed their children meat even when doctors order them to.

No, the diet they were on was not a PROPER vegan diet, that is why they died; not because of veganism.
The parents were not informed on how to feed their children – Just like MOST parents who feed their children fried meats and cheeses and milkshakes and fatten them up them turn around and point the finger at those who actually look after their children’s diet such as vegans.
Doctors are not trained in nutrition; Advice on diet should be gotten from nutritionists and dieticians.
The world’s largest nutrition organization, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, recommends a PROPER vegan diet to all people of all ages, from birth to death.

The kids were fed strict vegan diets. One kid died in italy resulting from his parent’s decision two years ago. Please don’t patronize or try to distract as your points are baseless. It has been a big problem in Italy that parliament nearly outlawed feeding kids vegan diet foods.
Your point about dieting and feeding kids is generally true, however, for humans a vegan diet is seriously unnatural due to the supplements and planning needed to compensate for lack of proteins.
So your claim about a “proper vegan diet” is nonsense and is typical utopianism. Just like the Communists keep saying: “Russia, China, etc. Weren’t really Communist but put us in power or adopt our ways and we’ll get it right this time.”

Being that you have studied the vegan diet thoroughly, you understand what it’s pitfalls and how to work around them. The kids died resulting from their parent’s decision and it’s now an albatross around your neck. Others who don’t have your knowledge can and will get into trouble.
In Mexican cuisine beans and corn are combined because put together they make up for what the other lacks. This is the kind of thing people need to know when they decide to become vegan since only eating one and not the other is unhealthy.
Early humans survived by eating anything they could get which included plant and animal sources. That is why the vegan diet is unnatural.

I am not, nor is veganism, responsible for the decisions and actions of adults.
People who are malnourishing their children – on a vegan diet, vegetarian diet, or fast food diet – should not have the right to keep their children or have any more children.
This has nothing to do with veganism or the global animal holocaust.

Typical dietary dogma: if it’s not working you’re doing it wrong. Agreed on parents who malnourish kids but the vegan diet has a more consistent track record.
It does have to do with veganism and there is no animal “holocaust” (nice way to diminish the impact of the actual event).
Early mankind’s history of eating animals to survive and the role eating meat plays as a source of protein and brain development debunks your assertion. Like I said: typical Leftist utopianism.

Animal based diets have FAR FAR more of a track record of making children and adults overweight, sick, and dead early.
There IS a proper diet and an improper diet, whether you meat and dairy heads want to face reality or not.
