Western Australian Farmers Harassed by Animal “Rights” Activists

In the past few weeks harassment of Western Australian farmers has been getting worse. Farm Weekly reveals that arguments between farmers and animal rights activists that occurred on social media are now being conducted person-to-person and the results are not pretty.

Dairy farmer Jason Parravicini got into an argument with thugs with the group Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) outside his house. WA Agriculture and Food Minister Alannah MacTiernan said there have been a number of similar incidents citing a specific confrontation with a farmer in Harvey.

Unfortunately, these aren’t isolated incidents. Farmers in the U.S., Great Britain and even Canada have reported similar events. Remember, animal rights isn’t about the humane treatment of animals, rather it is about the animalistic treatment of humans and the harassment of farmers is a prime example of this.
