China’s hydroelectric Three Gorges Dam is being pushed to the limit by new floods ravaging the Yangtze River. Cities like Chongqing have seen record breaking flooding, and a 1,200 year old Buddha statue (the Leshan Giant Buddha) is at risk, as 100,000 people in the area have been forced to evacuate.
