New South Wales, Australia is experiencing a mouse plague in which rodents are devastating crop yields in the state and the NSW government is resorting to poisons in hopes of halting the decimation. People for the Extortion, Torture, and Abuse of humans (PETA) has taken it upon themselves to weigh in, stating (not surprisingly) the rodents should be left alone. This translates into PETA supporting the deaths of human beings since the reduced crop yields not only badly impact the farms and can lead to their demise, but also negatively impacts the New South Wales and Australian food supply.
