A climate cultist with the group Latest Generation tried to vandalize the walls of the Palazzo Vecchio but Florence mayor Dario Nardella wouldn’t have it.

In addition to Europe, Latest Generation has been involved in a number of acts of vandalism in northern Italy too. After he and other vandals who showed up were taken into custody, Nardella issued a statement on Twitter saying.
