Former Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson did not mince words on a recent message he left on PETA’s voicemail. The group issued a statement recently criticizing Davidson saying he should have adopted a dog for his mother rather than buy it from a breeder. To which, according to TMZ, Davidson left PETA a colorful but well deserved voicemail.
As an aside, trolling is one of the methods PETA uses in order to get publicity for their human-hating causes. To them, there’s no such thing as bad publicity since they think by conducting stunts like this it gives PETA’s campaigns more exposure in order to win people over.
However, the fact that PETA has a history of supporting terrorists and promoting violence while doing little to help animals should be enough to give anyone pause to support them or their efforts. All of this said, PETA’s acronym really stands for People for the Extortion, Torture, and Abuse of human beings. Pete Davidson’s experience reminds us that PETA advocates for the animalistic treatment of humans and not the ethical treatment of animals.
