Talk about follow the money.

Environmental groups represented on President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s own environmental justice council are among the largest beneficiaries of the president’s environmental programs, collectively receiving hundreds of millions of dollars, according to a database of federal grants reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.

In total, four leading environmental justice organizations—WE ACT for Environmental Justice, the Bullard Center for Environmental & Climate Justice at Texas Southern University, the Deep South Center for Environmental Justice, and Kean University’s Center for the Urban Environment—have been awarded a staggering $229 million in Environmental Protection Agency grants and have been named as partners to grantees awarded another $200 million.

Leaders of those groups serve on the White House’s so-called Environmental Justice Advisory Council, which is formally housed at EPA, the same agency doling out the grants. The council provides the administration with “independent advice and recommendations on how to address current and historic environmental injustice,” the White House description notes.

The ultimate beneficiaries of such government largess are political activists. For example, at the federal jobs listings portal, a description for an open position for the EPA’s Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights (that was created two years ago), has language that clearly indicates the role is largely a political activist role and not advisory (emphasis mine):

…OEJECR provides resources and other technical assistance on civil rights and environmental justice, engages with communities with environmental justice concerns, and provides support for community-led action. 

Community-led action means the EPA branch is hiring and potentially training community organizers using environmental justice as window dressing. Worst of all, according to the Free Beacon, this is the same network that issued a grant late last year to the Climate Justice Alliance, a fake environmentalist organization that is really about hatred of Israel and Jews.

The agency assigned to give out the money (EPA) is relying on leaders of organizations who sit on the Environmental Justice Advisory Council, that is part of the bureaucracy. Small wonder that the corruption in the federal government is so bad since it is a result of the U.S. government amassing trillions of dollars in debt. This is literally the single largest taxpayer money laundering racket ever conceived.

U.S. taxpayers are having their money used against them in order to pay for political activists who undoubtedly will work to elect Kamala Harris to the presidency. She, in turn, will implement an even more radical agenda than Joe Biden, including when it comes to fossil fuels.
