A very inclusive message from the unifier-in-chief.
Shortly after saying this, multiple mainstream media outlets echoed Biden’s sentiments by linking the hurricane’s destruction to man-made climate change. Some reports indicated that even mountainous regions, often viewed as climate havens by real estate experts, are no longer immune to such threats.
ABC News featured a headline stating, Deadly Asheville tragedy shows there are no climate change safe havens, attributing this insight to experts.
The Washington Post described Hurricane Helene as one that bore the fingerprints of climate change, quoting North Carolina’s state climatologist, Kathie Dello, who criticized former President Donald Trump for spreading dangerous misinformation about climate change during her time as a climate scientist at Oregon State University.
CNN published an article titled Asheville was called a climate haven. Helene shows nowhere is safe, featuring comments from Dello, who pointed out that various regions—Canada, Vermont, West Virginia, and Phoenix—are all experiencing their own climate-related challenges, raising the question: Where do you run from climate change?
Dello also appeared in The Guardian, which headlined Nowhere is safe, emphasizing that the destruction in Asheville illustrates the far-reaching impacts of the climate crisis. The article described the storm’s damage as a significant demonstration of the climate crisis’s extensive reach in the U.S.
Former Vice President Al Gore was quoted by The Guardian, calling Helene a staggering and horrific reminder of how climate change can intensify extreme weather.
NBC News reported that the devastation in western North Carolina stems from a combination of climate change factors and the terrain, while noting that heavy rainfall the day before the storm exacerbated Helene’s unusual destruction.
In an article published Wednesday, NPR said that the damage was linked to human-caused climate change and suggested that it stemmed from ignored warnings by climate scientists.
Then there’s also the fact checking CBS News moderators conducted on GOP Vice Presidential nominee J.D. Vance despite the network promising not to do so.
This is coming from the same media outlets who helped cover up Biden’s deteriorating mental capacity. Now they’re trying to hide the Biden-Harris White House’s incompetence or outright sinister attempts to hinder relief efforts in states, like North Carolina, badly affected by Hurricane Helene.
These people really do hate you.
Nah, it’s not debatable, it’s simply untrue, according to the IPCCs own reports and figures.
