The mainstream media is already having a fit over the Trump White House calling out Biden’s USDA ordering a cull of millions of chickens last year due to their alleged infection of the latest strain of H5N1 bird flu.
CNN tried to fact check Trump but failed due to their contradicting themselves. On the one hand CNN points out, without evidence, that the cull is required by law but fails to acknowledge that humans cannot be infected by bird flu. Despite recent media reports that people can be infected, they admit there is no proof of human-to-human infection including even saying farmworkers are asymptomatic, making their overall assertion about human infection highly doubtful.
During 2004, the bird flu came and went with Bush’s USDA advising farmers to kill infected birds and monitor the rest. This as opposed to today in which the policy is based on the precautionary principle assuming the bird flu virus will spread quickly despite farmer’s ability to monitor their stocks and even vaccines that are readily available for laying hens.
The media’s mask has slipped due to higher egg prices too. CBS News also did the same as the AP in a recent report but, in the end, their morning news cast took the news of the heightened prices resulting from the slaughter like it was some kind of joke. Then again, they don’t have to contend with living on a budget thanks to their high salaries.
The fact is the bird flu outbreak is another attempt at hyping a virus to make it out to be a pandemic and Trump has to spend time cleaning up this mess among the others Creepy Joe left behind.
