Independent journalist Laura Loomer does a lot of good work. But her interviewing White Coat Waste Project (WCW) Senior VP Justin Goodman on her podcast last night (starts at 39:00) was very disappointing.
As opposed to her interview with Lindy Li, Loomer did not challenge Goodman on his organization’s connections to PETA, acting as though PETA and WCW are distinct entities (they are not) and accepting all of Goodman and WCW’s claims about medical testing in NIAID and DOD laboratories without question.
Laura Loomer failed to independently verify WCW’s claims, including the false suggestion that animals (like beagles) are tortured. Journalism demands reporting facts, not promoting propaganda, particularly from antihuman groups like the White Coat Waste Project.
White Coat Waste Project presents themselves as a PETA in suits, similar to the Humane Society. But their mission is grounded in animal rights, the same philosophy as PETA. The only fundamental right is the right to one’s life and it is only human beings that utilize reason in order to sustain and enhance their own lives.
Human beings are the only species that have the ability to deal with other beings by rational, voluntary means. Animals are devoid of any such capability and survive primarily based on predatory instincts. Animals cannot learn or interact with the natural world any other way. Therefore, animals should not be granted individual rights.
Animal rights groups, like PETA and White Coat Waste Project, value the savagery of the animal kingdom over the civilization of mankind.
Same as MAGA altruists, only without the crush on the Boy Jesus?
