The crew of a cargo ship transporting 3,000 vehicles to Mexico, including 800 electric vehicles, evacuated after failing to extinguish a fire on the vessel near Alaska’s Aleutian Islands. A similar event took place two years ago, when a cargo ship carrying electric vehicles was engulfed in flames off the coast of the Netherlands.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
