Harrison Ford has said that Donald Trump’s assault upon measures to address the climate crisis “scares the shit out of me” and makes the US president among the worst criminals in history.

In a blistering attack upon the president, Ford told the Guardian that Trump “doesn’t have any policies, he has whims. It scares the shit out of me. The ignorance, the hubris, the lies, the perfidy. [Trump] knows better, but he’s an instrument of the status quo and he’s making money, hand over fist, while the world goes to hell in a handbasket.”

The legendary Star Wars and Indiana Jones actor, who is 83, added: “It’s unbelievable. I don’t know of a greater criminal in history.”

Like many liberals in their echo chamber, Ford assumes Trump’s support in America is waning because voters are allegedly turning against his policies.

However, Harrison Ford frequently flies on private jets and has been photographed multiple times doing so despite his climate change advocacy. During 2010, he bragged about flying by private jet to pick up a cheeseburger and even has a giant collection of classic cars and planes.

Despite his blatant hypocrisy, Ford remains undeterred in his use of private jets, which emit far more carbon annually than the average American. He also endorsed Kamala Harris for president last year, stating that Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, believe in science or something. Ford must buy indulgences … er … carbon offsets from Al Gore to justify his lifestyle.
