Some much needed truth bombs delivered at the World Economic Forum conference that just wrapped up a few days ago. First remarks delivered by Trump secretary of commerce Howard Lutnick about European de-industrialization thanks to their embracing so-called renewable energy. World leader responses were priceless.

Lutnick’s remarks resulted in ECB president Christine Legard to leave the room.

Lutnick was even heckled by Al Gore.

Honeywell Vimal Kapur weighed in too.

But some people still love the albatross around their necks.

Ayn Rand said it best in an opinion piece she wrote for the Los Angeles Times:

Championed and propagated by ‘liberals’ for many decades, internationalism is collectivism applied to the relationships of nations. Just as domestic collectivism holds that an individual’s freedom and interests must be sacrificed to the ‘public interest’ of society – so internationalism holds that a nation’s sovereignty and interests must be sacrificed to a global community.
