As the Supreme Court gets ready to hear a major climate case that could push up energy prices nationwide, U.S. State Armor — a group set up to craft state-level answers to global security threats — released a 39-page report in July on the Environmental Law Institute. The report traces ELI’s years of work with China and says its China program partnered with Chinese NGOs, judges, and environmental regulators.

State Armor’s report was the topic of a recent virtual roundtable discussing the Environmental Law Institute whose ties to China have drawn scrutiny from Congress and other national security groups.
