Greenpeace protest angers Dutch fishermen

Greenpeace planned a protest off the Klaver Bank in Holland in which they planned to sink large stones into the sea in hopes of making a fish paradise. Dutch News reports Dutch fishermen are very upset since the Dutch government is in negotiations to turn Klaver Bank into a fishing preserve. Greenpeace’s actions would disrupt not only the idea for the preserve but cause fishermen’s nets to catch on the blocks causing their boats to capsize.

The results of Greenpeace’s actions would do a lot of damage to the fishing trade in the area in question around Holland. Environmentalists oppose fishing since they seek to cajole people not only to embrace vegan diets but they prefer to defend the lives of fish over human’s ability to consume fish for meals to preserve and enhance their lives. Another attack not just on people’s choice of food but also on the human food supply.
