War on the Little Guy: Endangered Species

Journalist John Stossel reveals how endangered species laws lead to perverse incentives for governments to restrict private property use and what property owners do to continue to be able to use their land.

Stossel interviews an attorney with the Center for Biological Diversity who is one of many environmentalist groups that sue government agencies to do more to protect endangered species which, in turn, leads to shoot, shovel, and shut up. Also notice the CBD attorney’s attempt to dodge Stossel’s point that endangered species rules are nothing more than a means to confiscate private property.
