Greta Thunberg is one way for the Left to make it’s case that to put the brakes on civilization by halting the West’s use of fossil fuels is for the children. Yet, not surprisingly, she lays blame on Europe and America but not one word of scorn directed at China and India who are the largest polluters in the world.

But like all famous individuals such as her, there are always parties who benefit, and The London Times made a very revealing discovery about Thunberg and her backers. They are, most likely, making a fortune in new donations and appearances for their newly appointed princess. But it’s time that they be exposed. The Times found out:

“[T]he Greta phenomenon has also involved green lobbyists, PR hustlers, eco-academics and a think tank founded by a wealthy former minister in Sweden’s Social Democratic government with links to the country’s energy companies. These companies are preparing for the biggest bonanza of government contracts in history: the greening of the western economies. Greta, whether she and her parents know it or not, is the face of their political strategy.”

As it turns out, Greta was discovered by none other than Ingmar Rentzhog who was trained by Al Gore’s green nonprofits and wanted to pattern his money making after Mr. Bozo Ozone Man himself, Meanwhile, Greta’s mom sought to get her cut by publishing a book on how their environmentalist activism saved their family. The Times also reports about Rentzhog:

“Trained by former US vice-president Al Gore’s environmental group, the Climate Reality Project, Rentzhog set up We Don’t Have Time in late 2017 to “hold leaders and companies accountable for climate change” by leveraging “the power of social media”.

He and his chief operating officer, David Olsson, have backgrounds in finance, not environmental activism: Rentzhog as the founder of Laika Consulting, an investment relations company, and Olsson with Svenska Bostadsfonden, one of Sweden’s biggest property funds, whose board Rentzhog joined in June 2017. The platform’s investors included Gustav Stenbeck, whose family control Kinnevik, one of Sweden’s largest investment corporations.

In May last year, Rentzhog became the chairman and Olsson a board member of a think tank called Global Utmaning (Global Challenge). Its founder, Kristina Persson, is an heir to an industrial fortune.”

Rentzhog and his associates saw how Al Gore made money and they wanted in on the action. Greta was their ticket to paradise and they may well cash in with their rich Leftist financiers to help pick up the tab. Thankfully, not everyone is buying this charade.

Motorists in Germany are making their displeasure known about Greta and nearly half of Britons and most Europeans polled for a survey were found to be skeptical about climate alarmism.

Incidentally, The London Times concluded:

“For energy titans in Sweden, as elsewhere, saving the planet means government contracts to print the green stuff. Green energy lobbyists are using populist scare tactics and a children’s crusade to bypass elected representatives. But the destination is technocracy, not democracy; profit, not redistribution. Greta, a child of woke capitalism, is being used to ease the transition to green corporatism.”

This kind of chicanery can’t come to an end soon enough. Hopefully, it will be seen and denounced for the child abuse that it is down the line and the moolah coming from Leftist financiers of Greta will (rightly) be seen as nothing more than blood money.
