The YouTube show Odd Man Out has an episode where a group of 7 people try to make out who among them is a meat eater. Notice the different personalities among the group such as Erin who is the more ideological while Brandon is much more rational. Unfortunately, most vegans tend to be more like Erin than Brandon in which there is a sentiment in vegan culture that you aren’t vegan enough. An ethic eerily similar to Marxist critical theory or takfirism in Islam. It’s one thing to have standards of conduct, another to treat a philosophy like a religion or utopian ideology. Vegans can be as destructive among each other, as well as to others outside their cliques.
