In a bizarre twist, People for the Extortion, Torture, and Abuse of human beings (PETA) is now protesting (of all people) Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) head Susan Atherton for reportedly having a closet full of leather purses and for alleged cruelty at an animal sanctuary her organization runs. HSUS has always had the reputation of being PETA in suits, but you didn’t really thought they meant it did you? Leather for me but not for thee! Get out the popcorn, ladies and gentlemen!
