Tesla Urges Texas Drivers to Charge During Off-Peak Hours Due To Record Heat Wave

For the past three days Texas and many other states have been experiencing a heat wave. Consequently, the state’s power grid is at risk of being strained. Consequently, the state’s grid operator, ERCOT, is asking Texans to cut their power usage.

The situation in the Lone Star State was serious enough to where Tesla even weighed in urging car owners to avoid charging their vehicles during peak hours. The company is even offering up to 50 percent off for drivers who were willing to wait to charge their vehicles until after 8pm.

Environmentalists, naturally, continued to defend using renewables despite the obvious proof they are the reason for power shortages in places that use them. Ghana is the most recent example not only of the realities of so-called renewable energy but is also a demonstration of environmentalist’s true intentions of killing people off or making human lives miserable with their renewable energy and organic farming schemes.
