When Letitia James isn’t harassing Donald Trump, she’s suing meat producers because she has nothing else better to do.

New York Attorney General Letitia James sued the world’s largest beef producer for allegedly misleading the public on carbon emissions goals.

James announced the lawsuit against JBS Foods USA, the American subsidiary of the Brazilian beef producer, saying it claimed it would achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040, while documents showed it had plans to increase production which would also raise its carbon footprint.

“The beef industry is one of the largest contributors to climate change, and JBS has falsely advertised its commitment to sustainability and endangered our planet,” James wrote on social media.

While JBS should have followed the Better Business Bureau’s advice and refrained from making their claims, the true intent of James’ lawsuit is revealed twice in her office’s press release. The last paragraph quoted above. From UPI:

“Beef production emits the most greenhouse gasses of any major food commodity, and animal agriculture accounts for 14.5% of annual global greenhouse gas emissions,” James’ office said.

The left has tried for years to claim that meat production contributes large amounts of greenhouse gases, but it is regularly found to be untrue and not eating meat won’t help stop climate change.

But the left’s war on meat is an extension of their efforts to exert political control over others. Grab control of the food supply, and controlling people is easier, including killing off those deemed enemies of the regime.

So, this being said, does this also mean Letitia James will be going vegan? With the lavish lifestyle she leads playing fast and loose with her political campaign expenditures that include trips to Puerto Rico and Martha’s Vineyard along with over $100,000 in meal expenditures, probably not.
