You couldn’t make this stuff up even if you tried.
Two representatives appointed to a committee considering paying reparations claimed whites were responsible for climate change, slammed Israel and pushed to defund the police.
Ron Daniels and Lurie Daniel Favors — both appointed to New York’s commission on reparations and racial justice by state Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie (D-Bronx) — made several fiery statements including Daniels slamming black US Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) as “Uncle Tim,” according to a review of their public statements.
“White Folks Messed Up the Weather = Black Folks Save the Planet,” Daniels, a longtime activist who ran for president on the Peace and Freedom Party in 1992, said in an Oct. 25, 2021, posting on X.
Daniels can blame whoever he wants. Ultimately, environmentalists blame all humans for the so-called climate crisis so if the greens come for people who they want to force to submit to their green dystopia it won’t matter what someone’s race is. It would be interesting if Daniels and Lurie Daniel Favors forgo using fossil fuel-powered automobiles for transportation and use renewables to power their homes and were invented by white people as well.
However, their racist tirades are nothing more than needless virtue signaling geared to help get them their 15 minutes of fame on the 6 o’clock news. If they were serious they would condemn environmentalists for their efforts to block African countries from using fossil fuels and GMO foods that can lift the people of poor, African nations out of poverty.
In reality, despite their momentary publicity stunt, people like Ron Daniels and Lurie Daniel Favors are the racists since they say nothing about the plight of the African people at the hands of environmentalists.
