Even though their efforts with COVID-19 largely failed down the line, the establishment or intellectual class is still trying to create another panic. Already, Dr. Deborah Birx, who actively subverted President Trump on a number of moves he made during the pandemic, is being trotted out to help instill panic.

Birx used a similar playbook used to heighten fear about the AIDS virus and applied it to the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, Dr. Leanna Wen is also starting to make appearances including making the case for people to vaccinate.

Last, but certainly not least, Dr. Anthony Fauci has been doing his part too.

All of the above were part of team COVID and this is obviously some sort of an attempt to re-assemble that clique. Fortunately, things are different now and there is no organized effort to censor opposing voices. But, somehow, that gain of function term seems to come to mind.

All of this conveniently just in time for Trump assuming office next month. The U.S. already has bird flu vaccines available and can quickly disseminate them. But the fact that Biden authorized developing one using mRNA technology shows this scare will be nothing more than another jobs program.
