Leftists do love to make up their reality as they go along.

Climate protest group Just Stop Oil said it will no longer carry out disruptive protests as its initial demand to end new licenses for unexplored oil and gas fields is now government policy in the UK. 

Protestors will be “hanging up the high vis” at the end of April, the group said in a press release on Thursday, but will continue to support its members who are currently being prosecuted in the court system. It is “the end of soup on Van Goghs, cornstarch on Stonehenge and slow marching in the streets,” the group said in a press release.

The climate-activist organization is planning one final “day of action” in London’s Parliament Square on April 26, but this will not be with the goal of having protesters get arrested, the group said in a statement online. 

Any claims by groups, like Just Stop Oil, promising to stop their eco-terrorism or somehow moderate should be taken with a grain of salt. Last Generation made a similar promise early last year, only to go back on their word two months later. Only this time they decided not to glue themselves to the street (gee. thanks!). In 2023, Great Britain’s other climate cult, Extinction Rebellion, also promised to moderate only to later go right back to doing what they do best a short time later: terrorizing the public.

Eco-terrorists, overall, think the public is stupid enough to believe them. Gang green may tweak their intentions here and there but they have no intention of halting or scaling back their efforts to destroy Western Civilization.
