There’s more to the story about 25-year old terrorist Guy Edward Bartkus who bombed a Palm Springs, California fertility clinic. As it turns out, he released a 30-minute audio manifesto along with details about what he would do.
Andy Ngo provided more information about Bartkus too.
Fortunately, after the bombing, Reddit moved fast to shut down the forum Bartkus regularly posted in.
Unlike what the media will tell you, Guy Edward Bartkus fits the description of a misfit or true believer as accurately described by philosopher Eric Hoffer.
He was no different than many other misfits before him like mass shooters Anders Brevik, Brenton Tarrant, or Connor Betts. The only difference is the outcome of their acts.
It is very likely Bartkus concluded his death was the best way to highlight the message or warnings he unsuccessfully tried to convey to the world and his radicalism was deep enough to where he was willing to take his own life.
What should be concerning, is that there are more people like Bartkus out there. It doesn’t matter what side of the aisle they are politically. What he and others did resulting from their overall social status and in order to further their political causes should be a warning to us all.
