PETA is obviously trolling, but it is really nonsense.

This isn’t the first time People for the Extortion, Torture, and Abuse of human beings has targeted video games, especially those made by Nintendo. But, despite it being part of a video game, the group still insists that showing cattle with nose rings is symbolic of animal cruelty while it always having the nose ring to begin with.

Nintendo will undoubtedly appreciate all of the free advertising they’re getting and as one astute commenter on X observed about PETA:
