A nearly finished offshore wind farm near Rhode Island and Connecticut is now in jeopardy after the Trump administration suddenly stopped its construction. The Associated Press says Democrat governors, lawmakers, and union workers from both states urged the president on Monday to reconsider the decision.

The AP reveals the administration announced last week that the Revolution Wind project requires further review due to unspecified national security concerns. The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management provided no additional details.

Additionally, the bureau is moving to revoke its earlier approval of a wind farm off Maryland’s coast, with plans to finalize this action by September 12, as stated in a U.S. District Court filing.

They’re really mad.

Offshore wind farms are facing strong resistance from local tourism sectors and environmentalists, who observed a notable rise in whale carcasses washing ashore as sonar activities started along the Northeast coast.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has dismissed claims connecting whale deaths to offshore wind projects and blames the increased number of whale deaths on an unusual mortality event before the first offshore wind farm was erected in 2016. However, numerous influential local political figures have challenged these dismissals, citing their lack of detailed explanation.

Renewable energy sources (like wind power) not only cannot provide enough energy to meet people’s energy needs but also have been drummed up area opposition due to the recent publicity surrounding dead whales that end up on East Coast beaches and whose deaths have been attributed to the windmills.

Ultimately, renewable energy serves as a money laundering operation for environmentalists through wealth redistribution. They were fully aware that their plans couldn’t effectively replace fossil fuels but pushed forward, aiming to undermine the West’s energy industry. Fortunately, Trump is finally putting a stop to it.
