Avatar director and climate alarmist James Cameron didn’t hold back in his criticism of President Donald Trump during a recent interview
The acclaimed filmmaker spoke with The Hollywood Reporter in anticipation of his latest movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash. During the discussion, Cameron labeled Trump as the most narcissistic [expletive] ever, dating back to [expletive] Nero. He added, Feel free to quote me on that.
During his interview with The Hollywood Reporter this week, Cameron expressed exasperation, noting, “I’m frustrated because the human race seems to be delusional about what they think is going to happen next. We are going backwards.”
He mentioned drawing comfort from movies like Avatar, pondering, but who’s to say we wouldn’t be going backwards even faster if it wasn’t for these films? Not surprisingly, Cameron’s recent release, Avatar: Fire and Ash, is seeing lackluster box office results.
It must be nice for James Cameron to make these proclamations while wearing a Rolex watch, being able to move to New Zealand and have a large real estate portfolio too. His multiple homes obviously use lots of energy powered by fossil fuels. Then again, like any Hollywood liberal, Cameron probably buys lots of carbon offsets from Al Gore to justify his lifestyle.
