Kamala Harris, the ex-Vice President and her husband Doug Emhoff have acquired a residence in Malibu, California, valued at $8.15 million. The New York Post reports couple’s latest property sits in Point Dume, a celebrity-packed enclave celebrated for its prime surfing shores and opulent mansions, among them the late Johnny Carson’s former estate, now on sale for $110 million.

Point Dume is situated on a 63-acre headland elevated above Little Dume, one of California’s most renowned and upscale beaches. During her 2019 presidential campaign and most of her political career, Harris warned of extreme weather and rising sea levels that resulted from human-caused climate change. But, ironically enough, the Emoff’s new home includes numerous amenities, such as a gas stove and fireplace, which the Biden-Harris administration aimed to regulate.

This sounds like someone really concerned about climate change doesn’t it? She’s obviously following the example of former President Barack Obama who bought an ocean-front estate in Martha’s Vineyard worth almost $15 million, former Vice President Al Gore who owns an ocean-view home in Montecito, and even Senator Bernie Sanders who owns three mansions with one located on Lake Champlain.

Kamala Harris shelling out millions for ocean-front estates perfectly captures the upside-down state of this nation. As everyday Americans struggle with skyrocketing costs, inflation, and a government that barely acknowledges them, Democrat insiders are indulging in lavish lifestyles—complete with spa-style baths, personal putting greens, seaside opulence, and all the trimmings. They drain their party’s coffers, leave the fallout for others to handle, and then splurge on ocean-view mansions as a pat on the back.
