Last week, a tornado ripped through Wheatfield, Indiana that resulted in widespread damage including destroying a nearby solar farm. This is one of a number of incidents where solar farms get trashed due to bad weather. But the only people who benefit are the companies that build them due to massive insurance payouts they’ll get resulting from damage.
