Hopefully mass arrests are in the works if this gets off the ground.

A far-left activist group with ties to anti-ICE protests, Antifa and broader left-wing organizing is openly calling for a “political revolution” and a sweeping overhaul of the American system that includes pressure on college campuses, according to newly obtained training materials.

Slides from a March 2026 Sunrise Movement membership meeting, obtained by Defending Education, lay out a vision to “structurally change the foundations of this country” in pursuit of “eco-socialism” and a “multi-racial democracy.”

The internal presentation outlines what the group describes as its “grand objective,” including the passage of Green New Deal legislation and dismantling what it calls the “billionaire 2 party system.”

The Sunrise Movement’s presentation stands out as a rare instance where a radical organization has committed its long-term strategy to paper with striking specificity. Every element—from the four-phase timeline and corporate targeting to campus pressure campaigns and the explicit aim of dismantling the current political framework—is laid out without ambiguity. The group has effectively declared its intentions in plain terms.

As Americans observe the buildup to May Day, it is crucial to recognize the nature of this organization. This is not a spontaneous outburst of grassroots discontent; rather, it is a meticulously coordinated, phased campaign. Its stated objectives encompass widespread economic disruption, institutional coercion, and the replacement of the existing American political order with what the organizers term eco-socialism. In light of such ambitions, conventional partisan squabbles over federal budgets and spending appear almost trivial.

When activists document their plans for revolution and those documents surface, the public should accept their words at face value. The Sunrise Movement made no effort to conceal its goals; instead, it formalized them in a slide deck, complete with detailed phases, timelines, and even a parenthetical note acknowledging that happiness is not a guaranteed outcome.

An organization that openly seeks to structurally change the foundations of this country and simultaneously claims to defend democracy warrants the intense scrutiny it is currently receiving. Citizens who still believe in achieving change through the electoral process would do well to take careful notice.
