NASA Photo shows Florida risk for sea level rise?

An article at The Weather Channel highlights a photo taken by astronauts at the international space station. The photo is alleged to show the state’s risk for sea level rise resulting from climate change. Since 1880, the article states, sea levels along the Florida coast have risen by nearly a foot, and are projected to rise another 3 to 6 feet by the end of the century. The Weather Channel makes a doomsday prediction claiming that since Florida’s population centers so clustered along the coast, it seems more like a matter of when, not if, serious and possibly deadly events could impact millions of Floridians.

In 2013 Harvard astrophysicist and geoscientist Dr. Willie Soon gave a presentation at a conference on this very subject. In his lecture, Dr. Soon demonstrates that variation of ocean levels is due to many factors. Please also note the comments attempting to berate Dr. Soon by a climate science website.
