Immigration and its Wage Effects in the US

It has long been alleged by anti-migration groups, such as the environmentalist front Center for Immigration Studies, is that immigration to the United States also reduces wages and job opportunities for native-born Americans and, hence, is bad for the economy.

In this Mercatus Center video, economist Alex Tabarrok explains that it is quite the opposite. In fact, immigration benefits the economy by raising wages and economic opportunities.
