The whole controversy started when the human hate group put up a billboard near the Baltimore docks condemning eating seafood and urging people to eat vegan food instead. The owner of Jimmy’s Famous Seafood (whose restaurant was nearby) decided to respond with a billboard of his own taking a swipe at PETA and it was all uphill from there!
According to AG Daily, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood has had more success on social media. The tweets they have responded to and directed to the thugs have garnered thousands of tweets more than what PETA could. Hopefully, Jimmy’s got more exposure, business and PETA learned they couldn’t lie when getting caught on social media either.
